MP: The law amending the staff will not increase job grades in state institutions

MP Mudar Maan, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, confirmed today, Thursday, that the staffing law will not raise job grades in state institutions.

Maan told , “Altering the Staff Regulation No. New job descriptions that serve a wide range of employees will be permitted by Act 25 of 1960, but job grades will not be increased.

“Most ministries had job placements due to the lack of job descriptions that could be used to transfer an employee from one title to another according to the basis of promotion,” he continued, “stressing that the Finance Committee had settled the job descriptions file in all ministries and they were added through amendments to Law 25.” He added that the job descriptions had been added through Law 25.

He brought up that “the change will go into real impact promptly upon its distribution in the Authority Periodical to continue with executing its arrangements.”

It is vital that the Place of Delegates casted a ballot yesterday on the Staff Regulation No. 25 of 1960 in the wake of correcting its arrangements.
