Moeen Al-Kadhimi, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, revealed on Wednesday the difficulties it faces in coordinating the salaries of 250,000 retirees in the Kurdistan Region.
Al-Kadhimi said in a proclamation to , “The Money Panel has not yet arrived at a resolution in the document to illuminate the Public Retirement Authority.”
In order to finance retirement benefits, “the deduction amounts must be added to the authority,” he said.
Concerning financial plan, Al-Kadhimi affirmed that “the Money Panel examined and talked about the tables sent by the public authority as they are and submitted them for casting a ballot without rolling out any improvements to the measures of the tables.”
“The Finance Committee has nothing to do with the difference in the amount, as it was 211 trillion, but what reached the government was 226 trillion,” he remarked.
