Khaled Ali Al-Karbouli, a member of the Anbar Provincial Council, noted today, Friday, that dozens of projects in the province have been halted.
“Downes of projects have not been started, and others have stopped for many reasons, the most important of which is the failure to receive the governorate’s budget for the current year,” Al-Karbouli stated.
“In light of the great destruction in some areas due to the major terrorist operations that struck the governorate,” he added, “There is a shortage of cash.”
He explained, “There are projects that have been halted due to the lack of financial allocations,” but “Anbar is free of stalled projects.”
“The governorate’s debt to investment companies operating in all cities of Anbar is over 210 billion dinars, while Anbar’s budget is 75 billion dinars,” he said.
