Parliamentary Committee Reveals Possibility of Extending Legislative Session in Order to Legislate Laws

The top of the Parliamentary Wellbeing and Climate Advisory group, Majid Shankali, uncovered today, Tuesday, the chance of expanding the regulative meeting to administer regulations that serve wellbeing.

“There are a number of laws before the Parliamentary Health Committee, including the Mental Health Law, the Tobacco Protection Law, the Doctors Support Law, and raising the retirement age,” Shankali stated in an interview.

“Noting that there is a trend to extend the legislative term in order to legislate important laws within the House of Representatives,” he added, “legislating important laws has become an urgent necessity as they serve the health sector in the country.”

“Due to political problems and controversial laws,” he continued, “the number of sessions during the current legislative session is very small.”
