Two Iraqi brokerage firms have been officially registered as remote foreign brokers on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), marking a step forward in regional capital market integration.
The Iraqi Securities Commission (ISC) announced that Rabee Securities and Al-Karmel Brokerage have received final approvals to operate on ADX under the Tabadul cross-border trading platform.
Both firms have also completed all required registration procedures with the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority, in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks. This allows them to conduct cross-border brokerage activities and provide Iraqi investors with access to the Abu Dhabi market.
The ISC said the development supports greater integration among regional financial markets, broadens investment opportunities, and enhances the openness and connectivity of Iraq’s securities market with Arab and international exchanges, as part of ongoing efforts to modernize and improve the efficiency of the country’s capital markets.
