The Ministry of Oil says things are still under control when it comes to fuel, even with the current challenges.

They explained that oil production is continuing as planned under an emergency strategy set up to deal with the fuel situation. Refined products and cooking gas are also being produced in enough amounts to meet local demand, and fuel distribution across stations is running smoothly.

Here’s where things stand right now:

  • Petrol production is at 32,474 cubic meters per day
  • Daily use is around 29,079 cubic meters
  • Available stock ready for supply is 98,478 cubic meters
  • The critical stock level is set at 200,000 cubic meters

Even though reserves are below the critical level, the ministry says the current supply is steady and there’s no immediate shortage. Overall, they’re confident that fuel will continue to be available in the market without major issues.
