Dollar prices rose on Saturday in both Baghdad and Erbil markets in Kurdistan.
The dollar prices increased after the opening of the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges. Currently, the exchange rate stands at 157,500 dinars per 100 dollars, whereas last Thursday, it was 156,600 dinars per 100 dollars.
Selling prices have also gone up in banking shops across local markets in Baghdad. The current selling price stands at 158,500 Iraqi dinars, while the purchasing price is at 156,500 dinars for every 100 dollars.
During official holidays, the Erbil stock market is closed. However, the selling price of the dollar in banking shops is 158,750 dinars, with a purchase price of 158,000 dinars for 100 dollars.
