Financial researcher Ahmed Al-Hathal said that Key Card has now moved its commission system to a fully electronic deduction. He explained that this is a good step toward modernizing payment methods. But the latest change has also caused a noticeable increase in withdrawal fees.
Al-Hathal said that before, the 0.006 commission was charged only once, and it stayed at 3,000 dinars no matter how much money you withdrew. Now things are different. The company is taking 3,000 dinars for every one million dinars withdrawn.
That means if someone withdraws five million dinars, they will now pay 30,000 dinars, instead of the previous 18,000 dinars.
He warned that this change will slow down electronic payments for merchants because the cost of withdrawing money has become too high. He also believes this may push many merchants to switch to other electronic payment companies that offer better service with lower fees.
