Sarwa Abdul Wahid, leader of the New Generation Movement bloc, accused two ruling families of stealing employees’ wages on Wednesday.
“The partisan family control in the Kurdistan Region is one of the reasons for the continued crisis of the region’s employees’ salaries, indicating that the employees did not receive their salaries for the month of August,” Abdul Wahid stated.
She went on to say, “Despite the federal government sending salaries to employees, two families in the Kurdistan Region seized salaries, and they were not paid.”
“Intervene and have real oversight of how salaries are distributed to employees on time,” was the request made to the federal government.
