Al-Fatah: Some partners do not want to withdraw US forces

The head of the Al-Fatah Union, Aed Al-Hilali, affirmed today, Sunday, that a few accomplices would rather not eliminate American powers from Iraq.

“American forces are still moving suspiciously in different areas of Iraq, particularly in the northern and western regions of the country,” Al-Hilali stated.

He added, “The new American developments on the Iraqi-Syrian strip call for worry, considering the presence of the leftovers of the fear based oppressor association ISIS.”

Al-Hilali noted that “these parties benefit from the presence of American forces and gain huge privileges from their presence” and that “some political forces do not want to remove these forces in the first place.”

Demands from political, popular, and tribal groups are growing for the immediate withdrawal of American-led foreign forces from Iraq. At the same time, they warn of a dangerous escalation if their crimes against the security services and violations of the country’s sovereignty continue.

Most Iraqi political powers gave their help for the Head of the state with respect to the moves toward oust American powers from Iraq after a progression of assaults against Iraqi security powers.
