Al-Fateh: The Sunni House will not agree to choose a speaker for the House of Representatives

Aed Al-Hilali, a member of the Fatah coalition, revealed on Wednesday that Sunni divisions and ambitions prevent the selection of a key figure for the position of Speaker of Parliament. He also stressed that the Sunni House will not reach a consensus on this issue.

Al-Hilali stated in an interview with the that “the Sunni House will not reach an agreement because everyone wants to reach the position of Speaker of Parliament to achieve success.” He also noted that “the political divisions within the Sunni House are continuing, and in the recent period we have noticed the presence of movements, parties, and blocs that have split from the main components.” A public space and making a presence inside the part and the whole political cycle from here on out.”

He went on to say, “The Shiite component maintains its unity, but it lacks agreement, and there is no unified decision or speech in the coordination framework, and this greatly affects the issue of resolving the Speaker of the House of Representatives’ file.”

Al-Hilali made sense of, “The numerous divisions and political desires inside the Sunni house forestall the choice of a focal figure around whom the part can mobilize.”
It is interesting to note that Sunni disagreements and party splits caused the Speaker of the House of Representatives’ position to be vacant for more than eight months due to political interests, which will cause the political process to deteriorate and fade.
