Al-Fateh: We have strong economic factors to move towards countries other than America

Ahmed Al-Musawi, the representative of the Al-Fatah Alliance, stated on Monday that Iraq possesses several economic strengths that enable it to collaborate with other nations, encourage trade, export oil, exchange goods and merchandise, and distance itself from America and its dominance.

Al-Moussawi stated that Iraqi funds, which the government had the authority to benefit from, should have been liberated to serve the country after leaving Chapter Seven, which significantly restricted Iraq.

He said, “The government has access to many economic and political reports. Several countries with robust economic activities have expressed interest in cooperating with Iraq. They have signed contracts and agreements to promote their economic interests.”

He expressed that Iraq could potentially terminate its cooperation with the United States and seek collaboration with other nations to export oil and exchange currencies, goods, and commodities.

Al-Moussawi pointed out, “Exiting the clause above would enable Iraq to control its funds. However, there is political weakness regarding the failure to liberate Iraq’s funds, which remain with America.”
