Iraqi lawmaker Thaer Al-Kaabi said on Tuesday that Iraq’s sovereignty is facing serious challenges because of repeated foreign violations.
Speaking to dinaropinions.com, Al-Kaabi said these actions require a strong and clear response from the government. He stressed that the next government must create strong security and diplomatic plans to stop these violations from happening again.
He added that protecting Iraq’s sovereignty must come first and cannot be ignored. According to him, staying silent in the face of these violations will only make the situation worse, both in terms of security and politics.
Al-Kaabi also said that the current situation requires full support from all national forces. He called for strengthening the country’s armed forces and making better use of diplomatic efforts.
In the end, he made it clear: Iraq’s sovereignty is a red line and should never be crossed under any circumstances.
