Al Saadi Baghdad has prepared oil shipments for global marketing following the ceasefire.

Former MP Baqir al-Saadi said on Wednesday that Iraq is ready to move its oil to global markets again after the ceasefire.

He explained that the Ministry of Oil has already prepared everything needed to send oil shipments through tankers. The goal is to restart exports smoothly and get Iraqi oil back into international markets.

Al-Saadi also reassured that there won’t be any issues with oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz. He said this is because of ongoing coordination with Iran, which helps keep things running without disruption.

He made it clear that getting oil production back to normal is a top priority. Iraq depends heavily on oil, with about 90% of its income coming from oil sales. He added that the current high oil prices are a good opportunity to bring in more money and reduce the country’s financial pressure.

While production may take a little time to fully recover, he said workers in the oil fields are ready and capable. They can restart operations quickly and make sure oil keeps flowing to global markets.
