The Council of Ministers (Iraq) has approved hosting the Arab Entrepreneurship Summit 2026 in Baghdad in November 2026.
The Cabinet also agreed to establish a preparatory committee to oversee the organization of the summit. The committee will be chaired by the Minister of Planning and will include representatives from relevant government entities to coordinate logistical, administrative, and technical arrangements.
Hosting the summit is expected to position Iraq as a regional platform for entrepreneurship, innovation, and private sector development, while strengthening economic cooperation with Arab countries.
