The last session of Basra Heavy crude ended on Friday with a loss of $1.09, or 2.6%, at $79.41, representing losses of $1.75 per week.

The most recent session saw the price of Basra Medium crude fall $1.09 to $82.31, resulting in weekly losses of $1.42, or 2.6%.

Investor sentiment was impacted by a stronger dollar and mixed economic signals, which resulted in global oil prices experiencing their second weekly decline in a row. Brent crude experienced weekly losses of approximately 2.8%, while West Texas Intermediate crude experienced losses of approximately 2.5%.
