Basrah crude prices drop despite global oil market rally

Despite an increase in global oil prices, Basrah crude oil prices dipped slightly on Wednesday.

Basrah Weighty unrefined rose by $3.58 to $70.52 per barrel, and Basrah Medium rough by $3.58, coming to $73.67 per barrel.

After concerns about demand brought the market to its lowest point since the beginning of October in the previous session, oil prices moved up a little bit worldwide on Wednesday as a result of uncertainty regarding the possible next steps in the Middle East conflict.

By 0630 GMT, Brent crude oil futures had increased 19 cents, or 0.3%, to $74.44 per barrel. According to Reuters, U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures increased by 24 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $70.82 per barrel.
