On Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the arrival of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein in New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly meetings. The announcement also stated that the Iraqi delegation will be led by the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani.
According to a statement by Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein has arrived in New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly meetings. The Iraqi delegation will be led by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, and they are expected to meet with numerous world leaders.
He added, “The minister will hold political events and meetings with foreign counterparts.”
