The prices of “foreign and Iraqi” gold decreased in the local exchange markets of Baghdad on Thursday, while its price increased in the markets of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
The reporter of Shafaq News Agency said that the gold prices were recorded in the wholesale markets located on Al-Nahr Street in the capital of Baghdad this morning. The selling price of a 21-carat weight of Gulf, Turkish, and European gold was 396,000 dinars, and the buying price was 392,000 dinars. Was, while gold prices were recorded yesterday, Wednesday—400 thousand dinars for weight.
The selling price of a 21-carat weight of Iraqi gold also decreased to 366 thousand dinars, and the buying price reached 362 thousand.
Regarding individual gold prices in goldsmith shops, the selling price of 21-carat Gulf gold was between 400,000 dinars and 310,000 dinars, while the selling price of Iraqi gold weight was between 370,000 and 380,000 dinars.
As for gold prices in Erbil, an increase was recorded, as 24-karat gold sold for 469,000 dinars, 21-karat gold for 410,000 dinars, and 18-karat gold for 351,000 dinars.
One shekel is equal to five grams of gold.
