The Iraqi Drilling Company (IDC) has reclaimed two oil wells in Khabbaz and Jambur. oil fields in Kirkuk.
The Khabbaz/45 well was reclaimed as part of a nine-well project for the North Oil Company in the Khabbaz oil field, utilizing the drilling rig with IDC 206.
The NOC completed the Jambur/69 well reclamation using the IDC 209 drilling rig.
According to the Ministry of Oil, reclamation operations are performed on previously drilled oil wells to activate oil-producing layers and change production areas by lowering rubber insulators.
