On Wednesday, the Martyrs Foundation began accepting applications for a 30 million dinars real estate grant to construct residential complexes in three governorates.
The Foundation’s head, Abdul-Ilah Al-Naeli, announced that eligible groups under its Law No. 2 of 2016 will benefit from the grant.
Al-Naeli stated that the grant application process will be conducted only through the electronic (UR) portal. After completing the application process, the Foundation will allocate and disburse the amounts to the beneficiaries whose transactions have been accepted.
He confirmed that the Foundation had acquired a 150-dunum area in Ramadi for a value of five billion dinars. The purchased land would be utilized to build another residential complex for the martyrs.
During the discussion, he highlighted that the Foundation has plans to develop an agricultural project across an expanse of four thousand dunams in the Samawa desert. This area is reserved for the Foundation’s Martyrs’ Fund, which will utilize it to construct a residential complex in Muthanna Governorate.
