After presenting cancer patients to specialized medical committees, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced that it would continue to support outstanding students and included them in social care along with full-time assistants.
According to the official newspaper, “patients with some types of cancer have been included in social care and full-time assistants, as diseases and the percentage of disability associated with them are determined by specialized medical committees, noting that their disability reaches 75% or more, and those who are below the poverty line,” the ministry’s spokesman, Najm Al-Aqabi, stated.
He brought up that “the service is proceeding with its systems and has not halted, as it alludes patients to clinical boards to decide the level of handicap, as well as making a unique visit to the Clinical City to survey the states of kids with thalassemia and their consideration in friendly consideration.”
“The ministry does not have financial allocations for them within this year’s budget, but the procedures related to them will stop until the allocations are available next year,” Al-Aqabi explained.
