The guardianship of Zain Iraq Islamic Bank has been announced by the Central Bank of Iraq.
The decision is based on “improper practices and unsatisfactory performance by the bank’s management, which jeopardizes the independence and integrity of the Iraqi banking system,” according to the document obtained by Shafaq News Agency.
The archive made sense of that the National Bank’s Top managerial staff gave choice No. 165 for the year 2024, in accordance with the Iraqi Banking Law No. 94 of 2004.
In accordance with Article 60 of the same law, Jalal Abdullah Salman has been appointed guardian of the bank and has been granted the powers outlined in this decision.
