The Iraqi Service of Oil has nnounced a huge expansion in the stores of fluid gas, presently surpassing 133,000 tons, and an ascent underway to more than 7,000 tons each day.
Izzat Saber, Deputy Minister for Gas Affairs, reported that producing companies now produce 7,370 tons of liquid gas per day.
As indicated by a proclamation from the Service of Oil, this increment is credited to the enactment of gas speculation projects upheld by the State head and the Clergyman of Oil.
The Gas Filling and Services Company’s General Manager, Anmar Ali Hussein, stated that his company has successfully ensured a steady supply of liquid gas cylinders to meet the needs of Baghdad residents and the service sector in other provinces.
5,700 tons of gas are consumed daily, indicating an excess of domestically produced gas over consumption. In accordance with the government’s plan, Hussein also mentioned upcoming projects aimed at expanding the liquid gas industry.
