Iraq receives goods and merchandise worth more than 300 million dollars through an Iranian crossing

Today, the Director of Customs at the Pervez Khan border crossing between Iran and Iraq, Qassem Motlabi, reported that Iran’s exports to Iraq through this port in the first four months of the current Iranian year (starting March 21) reached $323 million, a 23% increase from the same period last year.

According to Motalibi, as reported by the Iranian semi-official Fars news agency, the amount of goods and commodities exported during the specified period was 859,000 tons, which is a 49 percent increase from the previous year. The majority of these exports were fruits, vegetables, dairy products, cakes, sweets, iron products, plastics, stones, ceramics, and building materials.
