Iraq’s Ministry of Oil is moving to get its oil and fuel moving again—this time through multiple routes: Turkey, Jordan, and Syria.
Deputy Minister Bassem Mohammed Khudair said the State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO) has started signing deals with international buyers and shipping companies to export crude oil, fuel oil, and naphtha.
To make sure everything runs smoothly, an internal crisis team is keeping a close eye on operations and export performance.
In short, Iraq is diversifying its export routes and actively working to keep oil flowing steadily.
