Iraq’s Ministry of Finance signed two new credit agreements on Tuesday with the French improvement organization, Agence Française de Développement (AFD), to finance important infrastructure tasks within the sanitation area.
the first settlement includes a €30-million supplementary mortgage for the sewage mission in Khalidiya district, Anbar, elevating total funding for the undertaking to €a hundred and ten million.
the second one settlement allocates €a hundred million to a brand new sewage venture in Hamza district, Diwaniyah.
Finance Minister Taif Sami said that these agreements aim to transfer French knowledge and technology in wastewater remedy to Iraq, improving dwelling conditions and public fitness standards within the centered cities.
