The specifics of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that was signed with the American company Honeywell to develop oil refineries were made public by the Iraqi Ministry of Oil.
Appointee Pastor for Refining Undertakings, Hamid Al-Zobaie, told the state-run I that the MoU includes a few tasks to increment treatment facility ability to 40 percent of unrefined petroleum creation. The national economy will benefit from this increase, which will raise financial returns and increase crude oil’s value.
The service examined seven treatment facility projects, each with a limit of 70,000 barrels each day (bpd), in Maysan, Dhi Qar, Muthanna, and Najaf, notwithstanding units in Dora, Haditha, and Qayara. Honeywell will give a thorough improvement plan in two weeks or less.
