The Ministry of Communications and the Iraqi financial Council discussed preparations for the Iraq investment discussion board, scheduled for early June in Baghdad.
Minister Hiyam Al-Yasiri highlighted strategic initiatives for funding, such as submarine and transit [fiber optic] cable systems and records centres, geared toward enhancing Iraq’s virtual infrastructure and regional connectivity.
Ibrahim Al-Baghdadi Al-Masoudi, Head of the Iraqi monetary Council, praised the Ministry’s support and mentioned that the forum might present over 130 investment possibilities across diverse monetary sectors.
