Iraq’s Clergyman of Power, Ziyad Ali Fadel, led an essential gathering with delegates from the Turkish Association of Organizations and Project workers to propel participation in the power area, following the marking of a Notice of Grasping (MoU) during the Turkish president’s visit to Iraq.
Renewable energy projects and regional grid connections were among the joint initiatives discussed at the meeting to improve electricity production, transmission, and distribution.
Minister Fadel emphasized Iraq’s dedication to fostering partnerships with Turkey, particularly regarding the improvement of the energy infrastructure and the utilization of natural gas resources.
The Turkish delegation pledged to contribute to the growth of Iraq’s energy sector and expressed their eagerness to compete in Iraq’s energy projects, citing their extensive experience across 137 nations.
