Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority has announced that Iraqi airspace will remain closed to all flights—arrivals, departures, and transit—until 12:00 noon on Saturday.
The authority said this step is temporary and precautionary, based on ongoing security assessments and the current regional tensions.
Officials added that the situation is being closely monitored, and the decision could be reviewed depending on how things develop in the coming hours and days.
Airlines and other stakeholders will be informed of any changes as soon as new updates are issued.
