They will never tell you what the exchange rate will be. 1 to 1 indicates that the purchase power before and after the rate changes will remain the same. A 25,000 dinar note will have the same purchasing power before the rate changes as a 25 dinar note after the rate changes…Your multiplier is the exchange rate against the dollar. For simplicity’s sake, let’s say that the new exchange rate is $3.00 after the rate changes. Since all currency now has a value of $3, a 25,000 note multiplied by $3.00 would be worth $75,000, and a 25 note would be worth $75 after the rate changes. It’s that easy.
