Iraqi oil exports to US surge by more than 100 thousand bpd in one week

US oil imports from Iraq expanded last week, as indicated by information delivered by the US Energy Data Organization (EIA) this end of the week.

US crude oil imports from nine major suppliers averaged 6.120 million barrels per day (bpd) last week, up 363 thousand bpd from 5.757 million bpd the week before, according to the EIA’s weekly petroleum status report.

Iraq’s oil products to the US found the middle value of 228,000 bpd last week, higher by 102,000 bpd from the earlier week’s complete of 126,000 bpd.

The EIA said that Canada stays the US’s top oil provider, with a normal of 3.974 million bpd. Mexico was the second-biggest provider, with a normal of 987,000 bpd, trailed by Saudi Arabia with a normal of 278,000 bpd, and Nigeria with a normal of 208,000 bpd.

Ecuador supplied the United States with an average of 149,000 bpd, Brazil supplied 134,000 bpd, Libya supplied 87,000 bpd, and Colombia supplied 75,000 bpd.
