IVECO and MTT Deliver 20 Eurocargo Firefighting Trucks to Iraq’s Civil Defense Directorate
Baghdad — IVECO and its local distributor Machine Technology Trading Co. (MTT) have begun delivering 20 Eurocargo firefighting trucks to Iraq’s Directorate of Civil Defense, marking the first deployment of the Eurocargo ML180E28 4×2 model in the country.
The trucks were produced in collaboration with Italian bodybuilder EuroMT Srl and are equipped with 10,000-liter water tanks and high-performance pumping systems designed to improve emergency response efficiency. The new fleet will be deployed across multiple Iraqi governorates, including Al Diwaniya.
The delivery coincides with IVECO’s 50th anniversary, highlighting the company’s long-standing partnership with MTT and its continued role in strengthening Iraq’s transportation and public service sectors.
MTT serves as IVECO’s official distributor in Iraq, with headquarters in Baghdad and a branch in Erbil.
