The Ministry of Finance in the Kurdistan Region announced on Sunday that it has deposited salaries for government employees for the month of August 2025.
According to an official statement from the ministry, a total of 945.817 billion Iraqi dinars — nearly 946 billion IQD — has been transferred to finance the salaries of all public sector employees across the Kurdistan Region.
The move confirms the regional government’s commitment to timely salary disbursement, following months of coordination with Baghdad to stabilize financial transfers and public spending.
