Midea Group has opened a new showroom in Hillah, the capital of Babil province and a city famous for its connection to ancient Babylon. This new branch is part of a bigger expansion, with support from Alhafidh Group, Midea’s official distributor in Iraq.

With this opening, Midea now has eleven locations across Iraq, giving more people access to its energy-efficient home appliances. The move comes at a time when Iraq is seeing more economic activity, higher household spending, and growing demand for modern products.

Cities like Baghdad, Basra, and Erbil are attracting more investment, and international companies are keen to meet the rising demand for global brands and modern infrastructure. The new showroom in Hillah will help Midea connect directly with customers looking for reliable and updated household solutions.

This expansion is part of a larger trend: global companies are extending their presence in Iraq as the country’s economy stabilizes and grows steadily.

Midea Group, founded in China, works in six main areas: smart home appliances, industrial technologies, building solutions, robotics and automation, healthcare, and logistics. Its brands, including Little Swan, Toshiba, COLMO, Clivet, Eureka, KUKA, GMCC, and others, serve over 500 million customers in more than 200 countries.

Alhafidh Group is one of Iraq’s biggest consumer electronics companies. It distributes a wide range of top global brands, including Midea, Panasonic, Electrolux, Samsung, and Hisense. Through this partnership, Midea continues to expand its reach and bring quality products to more Iraqi homes.
