In an effort to maintain market stability on the Russian fuel market, the government has decided to extend the temporary ban on gasoline exports until the end of 2024.
“The decision was made to extend the temporary ban on gasoline exports from the country to maintain the stability of the fuel market during the period of seasonal demand and planned reforms in the country’s refineries,” the Russian government said in a statement.
Toward the beginning of Spring, the Russian government forced a six-month restriction on gas trades, except for the Eurasian Association nations (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan), however toward the finish of May, the boycott was briefly lifted, with commodities to be prohibited again beginning in August.
