Yasser Al-Husseini, Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Economic Committee, accused the United States of America of preventing Iraq from being economically open to other nations on Wednesday.
“The United States of America stands against Iraq’s economic openness to the countries of the world, indicating that America has contributed greatly to preventing the arrival of international companies in Iraq,” Al-Husseini stated in an article.
“What Iraq has reached is due to American interference in internal affairs,” he said, adding that “America stands as a stumbling block to the growth of the Iraqi economy.”
He proceeded with that “America doesn’t believe Iraq should be at the front of financially progressed nations.”
