MP expects to pass the Personal Status and Pardon Laws during tomorrow’s session

MP Mohammed Karim, a member of the Al-Fatah Alliance parliamentary bloc, stated on Saturday that it is likely that the personal status and amnesty laws will be amended during the Sunday session.

“The parliamentary legal committee studied all the proposals put forward by members of the House of Representatives from various political forces during the second reading, and it also held several workshops with specialists and with the participation of representatives of the political forces in the committee in order to come up with a legal formula for those amendments, whether in the Personal Status Law or the general amnesty,” Karim stated in a statement to the agency/dinaropinions.com. “The parliamentary legal committee studied all the proposals put forward by members of

It is noteworthy that the Presidency of the Council of Representatives announced holding a regular session to vote on the draft laws to return real estate to Mujahideen of the Popular Mobilization Forces, as well as to vote on the Personal Status and General Amnesty Laws.
