MP: Popular Mobilization Forces Service and Retirement Law will be passed in today’s session

The Popular Mobilization Forces service and retirement law will be approved today, MP Adnan Al-Jaberi confirmed on Wednesday.

Al-Jaberi stated, “The Popular Mobilization Forces Service and Retirement Law includes very important provisions related to the entitlements of the Popular Mobilization Forces fighters, noting that the law is a legitimate entitlement for those who have offered rivers of blood in the liberation battles.” Al-Jaberi was referring to the law’s provisions regarding the rights of the fighters.

He went on to say, “Because the percentage of support is more than half plus one,” that “the majority in the House of Representatives is interacting positively with the law that will pass.”

He noted that “the vote on the law will take place after reading its articles, noting that the rights of the Popular Mobilization fighters are a trust in our necks and the law will guarantee that,” and that “the vote on the law will take place after reading its articles.”

The fact that the Parliamentary Security Committee presented the Popular Mobilization Forces Service and Retirement Law to the Council Presidency in order to proceed with voting on it during today’s session is noteworthy.
