Free MP Amir Al-Maamouri affirmed today, Monday (September 16, 2024), that the correction to the Individual Status Regulation will continue in the Place of Delegates inside the following couple of days.
Al-Maamouri said in a press interview that “the correction to the Individual Status Regulation will continue in the Place of Delegates inside the following couple of days, as there is a parliamentary greater part supporting it from different coalitions and delegates, and after the subsequent perusing, the date for deciding on the revision will be set during the impending meetings.”
He added, “There are the people who need to raise misleading issues in regards to this alteration, despite the fact that the correction regards all orders and regards residents’ decisions in their own status, particularly in the issue of marriage, and it contains no impulse to oblige them to would anything as a like to advance.”
