MP: Upcoming meeting on oil companies' profits

On Friday, MP Ali Saadoun said that a meeting will be held after the Arbaeen visit to talk about the oil company profits in Iraq.

Saadoun said in a meeting with , “The public authority as of late took a choice to move sums from the benefits of oil organizations to the state depository, which will straightforwardly affect the pay rates of its workers, in spite of the fact that there is a particular regulation that gets this point.”

He added, “The parliamentary oil board of trustees will hold a significant gathering after the finish of the Arbaeen visit to concentrate on the public authority choice to guard the privileges of workers.”

“Any decision that leads to reducing the salaries or entitlements of employees of any government institution must be followed up legal to determine the extent of its consistency with the legislation, stressing that the committee will deal with the decision objectively and will defend the rights of employees of oil companies,” he said.

It is interesting that the country’s government recently made a decision about the profits of oil companies, which upset some people.
