Iraqi National Security Service says its new electronic exam monitoring system is already making a difference.
On Sunday, the agency announced that the system successfully detected dozens of cheating cases in several schools across Baghdad during preliminary exams.
According to spokesperson Arshad al-Hakim, the system was used directly in the field and proved to be highly effective. He said it was able to uncover and identify cheating attempts clearly and accurately.
Officials explained that these results show the system has now entered its full operational phase and is working with strong efficiency.
The move is part of the National Security Service’s support for the Ministry of Education. The agency says it is providing technical and intelligence-based tools to help protect the integrity of exams and ensure equal opportunities for all students.
In simple terms, authorities are using technology to crack down on exam cheating — and early results suggest it’s working.
