Oil Minister: Ceyhan export pipeline is ready, we hope to resume it within two days

Oil Minister Hayan Abdul-Ghani confirmed on Monday the readiness of the Ceyhan export pipeline, indicating that there are discussions with the Turkish side to resume exports inside the subsequent two days.

“The ministry is continuing to export oil thru the southern outlet in Basra Port and Basra Oil Port,” stated Abdul-Ghani to the dinaropinions.com

He brought, “The ministry now has discussions and correspondence with the Turkish facet to renew exports,” indicating that “as soon as the Turkish facet’s approval arrives, exports will resume.”

Abdul Ghani expressed his wish that “exports will resume in the subsequent two days,” stressing that “the oil export pipeline to the Ceyhan oil port is ready, and there are some technical subjects that need to be reorganized to renew exports.”

“The agreed-upon amount for export thru the Kurdistan area in line with the finances regulation degrees between three hundred and 325 thousand barrels consistent with day, part of that is used for neighborhood consumption, whilst the rest is exported,” he included.
