Oil prices recorded a slight decline amid concerns about oversupply.

Oil prices dipped slightly on Tuesday, giving back a bit of the gains from the previous session. Traders are still worried that global supply might be higher than demand next year, even as questions remain about whether Russian oil will stay restricted while peace talks with Ukraine show no real progress.

By 01:58 GMT, Brent crude was down 17 cents, or 0.3%, trading at $63.20 a barrel.
West Texas Intermediate slipped 12 cents, or 0.2%, to $58.71 a barrel.

For now, the market remains cautious, balancing concerns about too much supply with uncertainty over how long sanctions on Russia will last.
