Oil prices held steady on Wednesday after dropping to their lowest level in a month the day before. The market is calming a bit as more signs point to Ukraine getting closer to a peace deal with Russia — a move that could eventually lead to sanctions on Russian oil being lifted.
Brent crude inched up by 19 cents, or about 0.3%, to $62.67 a barrel.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) also moved slightly higher, rising 14 cents, or roughly 0.24%, to $58.09 a barrel.
