How the Index Works

The Henley Passport Index, powered by IATA data, ranks 199 passports by evaluating visa-free, visa-on-arrival, and electronic travel authorization (eTA) access to 227 destinations.
Each passport is scored based on mobility, visa ratios, and a weighting factor from the UN Human Development Index, determining overall ranking accuracy.
