On Sunday, MP Mudar Maan confirmed that eleven proposed laws and their amendments are prepared to be presented to the House of Representatives.
“The political differences for successive sessions contributed to obstructing the passage of dozens of laws, including oil and gas and others, despite the efforts of the political forces to move forward with them,” Maan stated in an interview with dinaropinions.com. “Consensus represents an important pillar in resolving them, and this matter is disputed by two people,” Maan added.
He went on to say that “11 draft laws are ready for presentation in the upcoming sessions” and that “after resolving the issue of the presidency of the House of Representatives, there are agreements to proceed with resolving the laws, especially those that are ready, including laws related to the security services or economic files.”
“In light of the political consensus that has begun to move toward resolving the differences and complications in the presence of positive climates,” he said, “some of the controversial laws may be resolved.”
It is noteworthy that disagreements among political forces have obstructed the implementation of numerous significant laws, including those pertaining to security institutions and oil and energy.
