Despite calls to modify numerous existing laws, Member of Parliament Sherif Suleiman stated that the retirement law and the salaries file are before parliamentary committees.
Suleiman stated, “Parliament is moving toward approving important laws” in a subsequent interview, noting that “among the important laws that Parliament seeks to approve are the Oil and Gas Law and the Federal Court Law.”
He added, “There are different regulations before the parliamentary advisory groups, some of which connect with retirement and compensations, and others relate to security organizations.”
