Parliamentary Integrity Commission reveals corruption case of Jordanian banks in Iraq

Hadi Al-Salami, a member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, confirmed on Tuesday that the Jordan National Bank was involved in the dollar crisis in Iraq.

Al-Salami told, “The Parliamentary Respectability Panel has more than once requested that the State leader pull out the hand of the Legislative head of the National Bank because of doubts of debasement and wasting of Iraqi public cash.”

He added, “After examination and investigation, the board found lawful infringement committed by the National Bank of Iraq by giving the Jordan Public Bank a level of the dollar.”

He mentioned that “the committee continues to host bank managers and concerned parties to determine the facts of the Jordanian Bank’s involvement in the dollar crisis,” and he added that this was something that he had mentioned.
